Mathew Lonergan – Managing Director

Mathew started working for us at IAG in 2016 and has been in the HVAC industry for 26 years. Outside of work Mathew enjoys spending time with his family, horse racing, rugby league and jet skiing.

Joella Kussrow – National Inventory and Procurement Manager

Joella has been working with us at Idealair Group since 2019. She comes from a fast moving commercial goods background so moving to HVAC has been a big and exciting change for her. Joella enjoys travelling, picnicking, and spending time with family and friends.

Rob Thomas – National Commercial Manager

Rob has been in the HVAC industry for 30 years and started working with us in 2008. Rob loves working with the many people he has met in the industry. A few activities Rob enjoys outside of work include fishing, bushwalking with his wife and watching the stars with his 8” astronomical telescope.

Mark Smith – National Business Development Manager

Mark started his career working in the HVAC industry as an Engineer back in 1980 and joined us in 2017. During his free time Mark enjoys being very bad at golf, cycling around coastal paths, cooking and travelling.

Paul Perez – ACT Sales Manager

Paul started his HVAC career with Idealair Group back in 2005 when we were called Ideal Rayson and has been with us for 16 years. Paul enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach and watching Rugby League, Formula 1 and Soccer.

Nayan Avalakki – VIC Sales Manager

Since starting his career in the HVAC industry in 2008, Nayan brings a wealth of technical expertise with a passion for customer satisfaction. Outside of work, Nayan enjoys spending quality time with his family and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines.

Daniel Jacobson – NSW Sales Manager

Daniel joined us at the start of 2024 and brings nearly 15 years of HVAC experience across multiple roles and brands. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and working on guitars for his small business.

Mark Ruming – QLD Sales Manager

Mark started working in the HVAC industry in 2007 and has been working with us since August 2016. Mark enjoys spending quality time with his family, whether that’s going camping, hanging by the pool or watching a movie.

Sankar Selvaraj – NT Sales Supervisor

Sankar joined Idealair Group in 2022 and now leads our operations in the Northern Territory. With strong technical expertise and a customer-focused approach, he’s dedicated to delivering reliable service and tailored HVAC solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, exercising and meditation.

Will Thomas – TAS Sales Supervisor

Will began with Idealair Group in 2021 and now oversees our Tasmanian operations. Known for his technical knowledge and commitment to customer success, he’s proud to have supported projects like the INCAT battery-powered ferries. In his spare time, Will enjoys golf and the great outdoors.
