The Polar Air High/Medium ESP ducted fan coil units have been specifically designed for medium/high sized cooling capacities. The series provides a cost effective solution that ensures a comfortable setting for both commercial and residential applications. The unit’s compact dimension, low heights and quiet operation make it ideal for buildings with limited ceiling space.
The Polar Air High/Medium ESP ducted fan coil units offer AC and EC motor 230V/50Hz ranges.
The ducted high series are supplied with return plenum, 7mm air filter with aluminium frame, interchangeable left/right side coil connections and dynamically balanced centrifugal fans.
Made from heavy gauge galvanised steel panels, couplings for the connection of ducting and gravity drain pan with insulation for condensation. Low height dimensions for low height ceiling installations.
Built with seamless copper tubes and headers, mechanically expanded into corrugated aluminium fin material for a permanent primary to secondary surface bond. Tested at 35 bar with maximum operating limits of 20 bar.
The fan blowers are made from galvanised steel with die-formed inlet cones housings, double inlet and double width centrifugal fans for smooth balance and quiet operation.
AC 3 speed motors are PSC and are permanently lubricated with internal thermal overload protection.
Easily removable and washable filters made from self-extinguishing acrylic with EU2 (G2) (Merv 2-4) efficiency class. G4 (Merv 8) efficiency filters are optional.
Positively sloped steel drain pans with powder finish. Coated with self-extinguishing closed cell expanded polyethylene containing thermal properties. The drain pan outlet is 3/4”, standard on the same side of coil connections.
Left and right water connections that are interchangeable, with the fan and motor easily removable for services.
Optimised water circuit designs, tested in accredited thermal test rooms to guarantee dependable performance and low water pressure drops. Airflow supplied at 120Pa external static pressure (ESP), varies from 578 to 3160 m3/h at medium speed.
