The Polar Air Coanda cassette fan coil units have been designed to generate air flow through their efficient air diffuser design. The design helps to create excellent air circulation with intake coming from the bottom of the unit, while air distribution goes parallel to the ceiling or wall through its outlet grilles. The Coanda Cassette fan coil units suit horizontal installation in a suspended ceiling or vertical wall.
Standard configuration includes the following features:
The Coanda series incorporates a standard 5 speed motor, offering flexibility for product configuration and ultra-quiet low speed. The standard motors are PSC, permanently lubricated with internal thermal overload protection.
Casings are constructed with galvanised sheet steel with integral fan mounting for added strength. Fire resistant insulation is fitted internally to provide both thermal and acoustic insulation.
The Coanda cassette units are supplied with round diffusers designed to generate an air flow with the “Coanda” effect. The direction of the air flow can be easily and manually adjusted.
Constructed with seamless copper tubes and headers. Tubes are mechanically expanded into corrugated aluminium fins for permanent primary to secondary surface bond. Coils are tested with water at 30bar for operation at 16bar maximum.
The Coanda cassette series has double inlet forward curved centrifugal fan wheels, which are statically and dynamically balanced for smooth and quite operation. The housing is constructed from heavy gauge galvanised steel with die formed inlet cones.
The Coanda cassette series offers easily removable and washable standard filters made of self-extinguishing acrylic with an efficiency of class MERV 2-4, (EU2) (G2).
